The LOCOTACT Lecture summerbreak is over and we are happy to announce next week's talk.
On Thursday, 25th of August 2022, Prof. Dr. Mathew Fuxjager, Associate Professor at the Department of Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biology at Brown University, Rode Island, USA, will talk about "Evolution of the androgenic system in birds: a focus on skeletal muscle".
The Fuxjager lab investigates the local effects of testosterone in the brain, the evolution of the hormonal system, and its relationship to the motor functioning for sexual behaviour.
