Next week, on June 23^rd at 5.00 pm,  we are glad to welcome Professor Tienush Rassaf, Head of the Department of Cardiology and Vascular Medicine at the University Hospital Essen, for our last LOCOTACT lecture before the summer break.

 

Professor Rassaf will present his talk entitled "Cardioprotection in acute myocardial infarction - per aspera ad astra”

 

He investigates a broad range of cardiovascular pathologies and mechanisms of cardiotoxicity. He has analysed cardioprotective signaling cascades in acute myocardial infarction and ischemia/reperfusion injury, with a strong translational approach and focus on drug development.
